Although the procedure which I mentioned in previous posts works with new Google Earth versions, I put this new post due to requests.

if you are new to this registry editing please read my first post before reading further.

I have tested this method with Google Earth 5.0.11337.1968 (beta) on XP SP3.

Put 000000000000 as the "Key" and AAAADjUuMC4xMTMzNy4xOTY4 as the "VID".

After updating the registry you will be asked to visit diagnostic mode when you open the google earth. (See the Screenshot below).

Press "No" Button.

Updated reg file for Google Earth 5.0.11337.1968 (beta) can be downloaded from here,

Is this limited to the 2000MB cache limit of Google Earth. Is there anyway to increase this limit to say 4000MB or something?

Many thanks for the posts.
I'm waiting for a solution to 5.2, or a link to downloading 5.1, so I could use it offline.

Erez

This seems to work great on a computer that has had GE previously installed. I tried it on both Window Vista 32 bit and XP SP3 and got it to work when the computer had a previous working GE that had been uninstalled. I cannot get it to work however, on an offline computer that has never had GE installed, something is still missing. Anyone have any ideas?
